Anytime you are starting a business there will be challenges and obstacles all along the way, but none more so than when you are starting a business from scratch. Starting from scratch means you are going to be lacking the funds that it takes to open up larger businesses and even some smaller ones as well. So, what are you to do?

Here are some ways to start a business from scratch:

• Get and F&F Loan: An F&F Loan is a ‘friends and family’ loan. You may know someone who would be willing to take a chance on you and your idea and if so you can take a loan from them and pay them back with interest. The rate will likely be far more favorable that any bank would give you and the chances of hearing no are far less as well.
• Start Part-Time: You can also start a business on a part time basis. There are many businesses that you can start, such as selling online with eBay or Amazon, which will allow you to keep your regular job while you begin to build a business from scratch. If the money gets good, then you can quit your day job.
• Be an Affiliate: If you have a website, you can be an affiliate. Affiliates are those who advertise for other companies by way of text and/or picture ads on their website and if someone clicks through to the advertisement, reaches the company website, and then buys, a commission is paid. Many of the largest companies in the world including Wal-Mart, Amazon, and Overstock.com all have affiliate programs.

Starting from scratch is indeed the hardest way to start a new business, but anything worth having is worth working hard for. If you stick to it and figure out innovative ways to make a new business happen, then over time, you will likely see much success, all with a business you started from scratch.
